When he’s not managing the practice, Julio enjoys spending quality time with his family and embracing an active lifestyle. He is passionate about outdoor activities such as mountain biking, running, paddleboarding, kayaking, and weight training, which align with his values of health and wellness. Melissa Caro
Marketing Director
Melissa Caro is the Marketing Director for Health Harbor Physical Therapy, where she leads efforts to build the practice’s brand, connect with the community, and grow its presence in Charlotte, NC. Known for her creativity and strong communication skills, Melissa designs innovative marketing strategies that showcase Health Harbor’s dedication to high-quality patient care. Her ability to connect with people and tell compelling stories has been key to expanding the practice’s reach and reputation.
Outside of work, Melissa loves traveling to explore new places and gain fresh inspiration for her creative endeavors. She values quality time with her family, finding it essential for maintaining balance and perspective. A natural creative, Melissa enjoys engaging in artistic projects that fuel her imagination. Her passion and dedication make her an integral part of Health Harbor’s success.
Dr. Scott Baker
PT, DPT, Clinical Director
Dr.Scott Baker obtained his doctorate degree of physical therapy in 2007 from Ithaca College, in the Finger Lakes region of NY. He was born and raised in the Buffalo, NY area and has worked in New York State, South Carolina, and North Carolina entirely in outpatient physical therapy since he graduated. His experience in treating patients covers a wide spectrum of ages, lifestyles, surgical procedures, and even includes care of professional athletes of multiple sports.
Scott moved to Charlotte in September of 2024 to be closer to friends and families and all the activities and attractions that the area has to offer. In his spare time his spare time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, supporting his Buffalo sports teams and Charlotte FC with his friends and family
